I can finally share this wonderful news with you - couldn't do it prior due to confidentiality agreement: I am participating in the Art of Street Photography exhibition in Dublin, Ireland, from June 2-16.
This exhibit highlights the value of street photography as art on an international level.
Featured artists include Jill Freedman (USA), Richard Sandler (USA), Dougie Wallace (Scotland), Tish Murtha (UK), Tatsuo Susuki (Japan), Gabi Ben Avraham (Isreal), Arek Rataj (Poland), Swart Ghosh (India) and Rudy Boyer (France).
And the exhibit does more than show off the work of established street photographers. It is also includes the work of lesser known street photographers by means of a call for entries.
So I was got lucky enough to be selected and exhibited with one of the most beloved images of mine taken this past March during the last snowstorm on the East Coast.
Unfortunately, I was not able to go there and see the exhibition myself because I still have to apply for Visa.
But if you are there, please stop by and support all those well known and just starting talents! Trust me, this means a lot to artists!
Below are some photos from the exhibition and a link to Des Byrne's blog where you can read more details about it.
